A Concrete Manifestation of Care for Vulnerable Workers

Batam, 18th December 2025 – PT Goutama Weight & Testing’s commitment to corporate social responsibility has once again been recognized. At the Grand Mercure Batam Centre, the company received special appreciation for its active participation in the 2025 SERTAKAN (Sejahterakan Pekerja Sekitar Anda) national program organized by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

The event, which was held on Thursday morning (12/18) at 9 am local time, was attended by various stakeholders, ranging from representatives of BPJAMSOSTEK to leaders of companies in the Batam and Riau Islands regions

Why is the SERTAKAN Program Important?

PT Goutama Weight & Testing’s participation in this program is not without reason. The SERTAKAN National Movement is a noble initiative that aims to protect informal workers or Non-Wage Recipients (BPU), such as domestic workers, private drivers, and small traders who have the same work risks as formal workers, but often do not have social security protection due to financial constraints.

Through this program, PT Goutama Weight & Testing participates in implementing a spirit of mutual cooperation by helping to pay social security contributions for these vulnerable workers. This is in line with BPJAMSOSTEK’s vision of protection to ensure that all Indonesian workers are protected from the risks of workplace accidents and death.
